By Mass Transit

  • PENN STATION:
    Exit at 7th Ave. walk left to 35th St., make a right
  • GRAND CENTRAL STATION:
    Exit at 42nd St., walk right (west) to Broadway, turn left (South) 7 blocks – make right on 35th St
  • PORT AUTHORITY BUS TERMINAL:
    Exit on 8th Ave. walk to the right (South) to 35th St, make a left (East) on 35th St

By Car

  • LINCOLN TUNNEL:
    Stay in the extreme right lane. Follow signs to 34th St.
  • MIDTOWN TUNNEL:
    Stay left follow signs to 35th St., make a right turn onto 35th St., proceed to Institute (6 blocks)

Parking

  • STREET PARKING:
    Is not possible between 8 AM and 7 PM Monday thru Friday. You will be ticketed and towed. You can park right in-front of the Institute on Saturday and Sunday, however please always read the parking regulation signs.
  • GARAGE PARKING:
    There are numerous garages in the neighborhood.
