This course is designed to meet the 75-hour pre-licensing curriculum requirement for real estate brokers as set forth by the state of New York. The course provides foundational knowledge on agency and license law, brokerage topics, agent safety, as well as other real estate-related topics important for the well-rounded professional, including real estate financing, fair housing, property management, construction, land use, property taxes, real estate investment, environmental issues, and more. It examines relevant elements of New York’s Real Estate License Law, as well as other pertinent laws related to the practice of real estate in the state. Video, case studies, review of state-specific forms, as well as the many opportunities for self-assessment, prepare students for success in their broker career.
We also offer the a 32-hour supplemental course which contains the 30 hours of new material required for a broker’s license as of December 21, 2022, plus a 2-hour exam. It is designed specifically for broker candidates who, prior to December 21, 2022, completed an approved 45-hour broker qualifying course to satisfy the remaining educational requirements for a New York State real estate broker or associate broker license.
