How Our Salesperson Course Works

What: You need to finish 20 sessions to accumulate 75 hours of class-room study. Sessions are independent to one another and you can take in any order...there is NO 1 through 20 and you can start with any session that fits your schedule.
When: The school is open 7 days a week. We offer morning, afternoon and evening sessions. Please check schedule below for exact times.

How: You need to finish 20 different sessions to complete this course. You can take sessions in any order for your convenience. You can finish in two weeks or take up to 4 months complete the course. Upon registration, you can start immediately with any session number.
Options and Prices: You can choose from 3 options: Basic Package($395), Premium Package($445) and Professional Package($540).

NOTE: Except for holidays the course will be given EVERYDAY, seven days a week for your CONVENIENCE. For your convenience, you can also take any sessions that you have not taken at either Long Island location. Another advantage of the flexible schedule is that if you took the course with a fixed schedule as is given everywhere else and you have to miss a class you will not have enough hours to complete the course to obtain a license and typically you will have to take the class all over again.

Your Five Steps to Getting Licensed

1	Register for class at New York Real Estate Institute, 139 West 35th street, 2nd Floor in Manhattan, register online or in person.
2	Start the course any day of the week, finish 20 different sessions and the school exam to obtain your School Certificate from New York Real Estate Institute.
3	Successfully complete both the N.Y. State Test (a one hour exam given each Tuesday in lower Manhattan) and the New York Real Estate School Test, then you will meet the licensing requirements. Upon passing of the School Completion Test, NYREI will issue you a Certificate of Completion.
4	Find a real estate office "sponsoring broker" where you will work and be supervised as a salesperson.

• No Felony*
• 75-hour Salesperson Course at NYREI
• Passing of NYREI School Completion Test
• Passing of the state test

How long does it take to finish Salesperson Course at NYREI?

Salesperson Licensing Course is a 75-hour course that is broken up into 20 sessions. Each session is independent of each other and can be taken in any order. The quickest you will finish is in 10 days, taking 2 sessions a day (FAST TRACK). Our unique schedule allows you to begin classes at any time. Students are allowed to take 7.5 hours of absence. Here are some models of how you finish 20 sessions at NYREI:

1	Fast Track Start any day during the week and finish in 10 weekdays
2	Evenings Start any night and finish in 20 straight nights Monday - Thursday, class starts at 6PM
3	Mornings - Start any weekday morning and finish in 20 weekday mornings
4	Afternoons - Start any weekday afternoon and finish in 20 weekday afternoons
5	Weekends - Start any weekend and finish in 10 straight weekend days ( Five consecutive weekends)
7	Saturday or Sunday ONLY - Start and go either day only and finish after 10 days
8	Mix & Match - "Plan your own schedule" Combine mornings, afternoons, and evenings in any sequence (you do not have to start with class #1) that is convenient for you, without taking the same class twice since New York Stare will not allow you to receive credit for that session.

What tests do I need to take to get a license?

The School Completion Test, which will be given every week at NYC location as well as tests dates for nights and weekends (please check schedule). The test is also given at all other locations. However, you are able to schedule to take the test at any time you want for an additional $25 proctor fee.
The New York State Test, which should be offered every Tuesday at 123 William Street. Test fee: $15. The link is above to sign up for the Department of State test

NYREI Guarantees

• If you do not pass the state exam, you can retake the course at no additional charge, however the pass rate at NYREI is on average 95% each week.
• Licensing Course that is fully approved by the New York State

How flexible is NYREI schedule?

You can take the 20 sessions in any order and start any morning, afternoon or evening after the registration. You can select sessions that meet your busy schedule easily with our around-the-clock schedule. NYREI offers sessions days, nights and on weekends.
