Q: How much should I expect to earn?
A: Unlimited earning potential if you work hard.
It is really true that the earning potential for real estate agents in NY is unlimited. However, counter to other companies' practices of making extraordinary promises to entice newcomers, BARAK will set realistic first-year goals for you and give you higher commission splits to get you where you need to be, faster. Moreover, if you are in it for the long run, our best agents are expected to double their incomes every single year over the previous one.

Q: What kind of training do we offer?
A: Ongoing support and our mentoring program.
Our support will not end with a 3-day seminar, but will continue for the entire duration of your career.
Every 2 weeks we conduct a general meeting where we discuss relevant real estate and company topics. Besides that, do not expect any formal seminars, exams, classes or classroom training. We want you to make money from day one without spending unnecessary time in class memorizing materials you will most likely forget. We will pair you up with an experienced agent to be your mentor. He/She will welcome you into our company, introduce you to our systems, walk you through your first deals and always be there for you. Most importantly, we will NOT require you to co-broke your first deals with your mentor so you will make the full commission you deserve for your hard work right from the get-go. Finally, our small size allows management’s door to always be open for questions, support, guidance and encouragement. You will never feel alone at BARAK.

Q: What hours am I required to work?
A: You are an independent contractor and therefore you are free to set your own hours. We will provide you with keys to our office and you are free to come and go when you please. Generally, what you put in is what you get out. Our best producers work 6-7 days a week.

Q: Sales or Rentals?
A: Do both. Take full advantage of every money-making opportunity:
Most of our newcomers usually start with rentals, where they can expect to make money fairly quickly. We also encourage our top producers to gradually learn sales to substantially bolster their incomes. Although you can make decent money doing rentals alone, you can really jump to stratospheric levels if you combine 3 to 4 rentals a month with 1 or 2 sales. Some of our agents like to specialize, but most take advantage of both sales and rentals.
